Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management (“REIM”) improved the results of its funds’ scores in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (“GRESB”) further, and several of its strategies are within the top of the industry groups.
In the recently released 2024 survey results, our different strategies achieved the following results:
European Industrial:
o 91 points | 5 stars
o #3 most sustainable industrial fund in Europe
Benelux Office:
o Improved its score to 95 points | 5 stars
o #3 most sustainable office fund in Europe
Swiss Residential:
o Improved its score to 90 points | 5 stars, from 86 points | 4 stars last year
o #3 diversified - office/residential fund in Switzerland
UK Residential Build-to-Rent:
o Increased its score to 90 points | 5 stars, from 89 points last year
UK Affordable Housing:
o 86 points | 4 stars
In addition, the Romandie Real Estate investment group, managed on behalf of Helvetia Investment Foundation, also achieved 5 stars and 90 points — up from 80 points and 3 stars last year.
The achieved positions in the top of the industry groups are the result of the dedication of our local fund and asset management teams, through strong data collection, a significant decrease in energy usage and carbon emissions, a strong increase in building certification and strong engagement with the tenants and community. Aside from our efforts in the annual GRESB survey, the teams are actively working to decarbonise the properties under our management following the Carbon Risk Real Estate Management (“CRREM”) framework.
